Description
Day 1: Kathmandu ⟶ Pokhara ⟶ Kande ⟶ Deurali (~2,100 m)
Morning: Fly (25 min) or drive (6–7 h) from Kathmandu to Pokhara.
Midday: Take a jeep or bus to Kande (~1–1.5 hours).
Trek: Kande → Australian Camp → Pothana → Deurali (~6–7 km; 4–5 h).
Highlights: First mountain views over Annapurna & Machhapuchhre from Australian Camp and Deurali
Day 2: Deurali → Forest Camp (2,520 m) (~7 km, 5–6 h)
Ascend through dense rhododendron–oak forest, crossing peaceful, less-traveled terrain. Stay in Forest Camp (also known as Kokar).
Day 3: Forest Camp → Low Camp (3,050 m) (~7 km, 5–6 h)
Climb out of the forest to the panoramic Low Camp ridge. Viewpoints like Lovely Hill & Badal Danda offer stunning views of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South & Hiunchuli.
Day 4: Low Camp → High Camp (3,580 m) (~6 km, 4–5 h)
Continue up narrow alpine ridges into windswept terrain. Stay at High Camp, ideal for acclimatization.
Day 5: High Camp → Mardi Viewpoint (4,200 m) → High Camp → Siding (1,750 m) → Pokhara
Early morning: 2–2.5 h steep climb to the viewpoint at sunrise.
Afterward: Return to High Camp for breakfast. Optionally, push to Base Camp (~4,500 m), then descend.
Descend: High Camp → Siding (~6–7 h total).
Transport: Shared jeep to Pokhara (2.5–3 h).
Celebrate: Enjoy dinner by Phewa Lake.
Day 6: Pokhara ⟶ Kathmandu
Relaxed morning in Pokhara, then deluxe bus (6–7 h) or flight back to Kathmandu. Departure or sightseeing.
